What is a 24-Hour Live-In Caregiver?
A 24-Hour Live-In Caregiver provides care services for individuals needing continuous assistance with their daily tasks or short-term help while recovering from medical procedures. The caregiver lives in the client’s home and provides consistent 1-on-1 help on a daily basis. They are trained in 24-hour care and are able to assist clients who cannot complete daily functions, such as sleeping, bathing, eating, and toileting on their own.
Additionally, they can provide hands-on personal care, manage the household, and assist with special activities.
Keep in mind that 24-Hour Live-In Caregivers are obligated to 8 hours of sleep each date.
What is 24-Hour Care?
This option is available for those who do not require a caregiver to live in the home. If the client requires 24 hours of care, there will be two caregivers who will rotate shifts to ensure someone is caring for your loved one at all times.
